Found this restaurant after a quick yelp search once I checked into my hotel. After 24 hours of traveling, I wanted something simple and comforting. This restaurant was it! The menu is extensive; I stuck with the minestrone soup and gnocchi with tomato sauce (and a glass of the house wine). Service was fast and the food was great and reasonably priced. Would recommend if you're looking for something everyone would enjoy!

We were looking for an Italian place near our hotel for our last night in town. The reviews looked the best out of most options in the are so we gave it a shot. From the time we walked in we could tell it was a good place to be. Been in business a long time and had a teamwork, family momentum throughout the restaurant. We ordered the risotto on special which was a little bland. I thought it was going to have big shrimp/prawns but instead had tiny bay shrimp. It also had asparagus, but could have used some more flavor/fillings. The other item ordered was a stuffed chicken with vegetables which we both thought was delicious. All of the food at the surrounding tables also looked sooo yummy and everyone was clearing their plates. Since it was our last night we also got cheesecake and chocolate cake which were both so good! I'd certainly give this place a try if you're in the area.

My wife and I enjoyed Bizzarro greatly. We've been in London for a week, and today she ran the London marathon. So was hoping to find great Italian food, in a casual setting to avoid the need to overly dress for the night.

We researched, online and used prior yelp reviews as well, and chose this place.

The service was excellent, with a very attentive and authentically Italian waiter and a maitre de (owner) who was welcoming from the start. The place is a bit of a hole in the wall. And could perhaps use an upgrade on tables and chairs. But, definitely well kept and super clean. And it's the food that makes the trip worthwhile anyhow.

And the food was truly, delicious Italian. I had filet medallions in a peppercorn sauce with a side of spinach. And my wife had an amazing pasta Bolognese. We shared an ok Chianti. (The wine list was limited but enough to choose from). And we finished with a homemade tiramisu and tarta Della nonna. And all things edible were wonderful and the prices were so low, my wife and I had a hard time believing we were in London and that everything would be so good. But we were. And it was.

We finished with an espresso which was fresh and perfectly prepared.

We happily recommend Bizzarro. This will not be your fancy high end night out!  But for an amazing meal. At an even more amazing value. You can't beat this spot in all of London.

Old school Italian restaurant serving up pasta and pizza dishes in a slightly upscale setting. Easily able to get a table for two on a Monday night as the place is maximized with seating.

One thing I immediately noticed is the overwhelming smell of flowers. not sure if it was the greatest scent, yet it's good if you want to cover up everything else. As for the food, ordered the Lasagna (£8.90) - a thick serving of lasagna swimming in a pool of marinara sauce. Cheese is a little burnt, though the waiter comes by and adds some parmigiana on top to offset. Pretty good meal and surprisingly not hefty.

A little on the annoying side is the small expenses. They ask if you want sparkling or still; and my friend said sparking which is (£3.90). If you want pasta as main course it's £1 extra. Bread and butter isn't included but £0.95 a person. Gratuity of 10% is added on top. Other than that, a fine sitdown establishment for Italian food.
